The Willy Wagtails fledged on Friday, not the best weather for it, but all 3 left the nest. Today 2 of the babies were back 'at' the nest for morning siesta. I hope the 3rd was just loitering nearby, could not find it, or the parent birds, but I could hear them.
I think there are 6 swallow babies in this nest, my early pics were terrible, and these arent much better, but I can definitely count 5 with the bravest wandering along the beam while the parent birds were 'resting' close at hand. They have been fun to watch, hope they decide to postpone fledging for a few days as the weather forecast is not kind for a week yet.
