We got to go out on the quad bike and muster some sheep, a very cool activity for us city slickers ;-D Loli enjoyed this hugely until the sheep decided that they werent going to take orders from some little lap dog!! Trying to use the skills she's learned with Belle and Charcoal and a bunch of Merinos at Wedgewood, somehow didnt translate so well to being on your own with a much bigger bunch of Texels and Dorsets, much more bolshy sheep!! Seconds after this shot I had to ride the bike at the sheep and get them to do the whole 'move on, nothing to see here' trick, and Loli was very relieved that I did so!! LOL!!
The rain has been good this season, and the grass is growing, the lambs are looking fat and well. Find out more about Moorlands Lamb at moorlandslamb.com.au
Another lovely outing and yummy lunch at Moorlands, just before we left and while Kettle - one of the farm dogs - wasnt looking I got to sneak a peek at her 8 puppies!! born on Friday - pics are rubbish, blackish puppies in a darkish kennel is beyond my photography skills, but they are very cute, pics next time :)
