Echidnas!!

Echidnas - they're everywhere!!  Hardly ever saw one as a kid, but now that I'm living in NSW, I see them nearly every week.  2 today!!  This one this morning on Corringle Lane, not best pleased about my stopping to take photos!!

Australia Day Visit with Scarlett Rose

Running late.... and there was a traffic jam on Taylors Flat Road!!  Through bug spattered and cracked windscreen!!  Lucikly they weren't going far up the road...

Met Scarlett and Freya at the shopping centre for a little retail therapy.  Scarlett quickly tired of the whole thing and we headed home, but not before getting a few outfits for Freya's new role of classroom teacher of 50 pre-primary students :)  At home Scarlett likes to test everything for its suitability as a 'walker' - something she can push along in front of her, scattering pets, toys and everything else before her!!  LOL!!  Turns out the dog grits container is pretty much perfect!

Scarlett Rose and Orange Trees

I love this time of the year when the gums shed their grey bark and their new orange 'skins' light up the bush.

Today is Freya's birthday, so yesterday Freya, Dan, Scarlett and I went out for lunch.  We had a quick photo sesh before we left... had to be quick to catch Scarlett with the head band on!!

Happiness is getting hold of Gargie's handbag and keys!!

Morning Ride and a hot Sunday visit with Scarlett Rose

First thing each morning I take the quad bike and ride up the hill to take Ruby for a run before the snakes are out and about ;-D  Views from the top of the hill taken the Sunday before last.

Looking further down the track:

And back toward the house:

And looking out to the northeast:

Later on that day I went to visit Scarlett, it was a very hot day and she was enjoying an icy pole.... even if some meany had not cut the end open!!

Too hot to set the paddling pool up outside, so a mat, a few towels and the lounge room became a water park :)  Only difficult job was getting her out!!
