The llamas today
I went to visit Sweet Pea and Carter today.... they were up the top end of the paddock when I arrived.

As soon as I rattled the food bucket - containing 'lamb and ewe nuts' - they came 'a runnin'!!

Since my last visit Carter has also learnt to enjoy them!
All too soon it was time for me to leave and the llamas to get on with their day - tough life, all that grass, sunshine and a hill to climb - perfect!!
Tony and Pam's Garden
Even though the light was less than perfect, the garden at Tony and Pam's looked fantastic today. I was especially taken by the freesias and the magnolia was truly magnificent.

Eastern Spinebills
New spotting for the garden this week, Eastern Spinebills, not my pics, but you get the gist. I waited at the same spot as I saw them yesterday, this time with my camera instead of the wash basket... and can you believe it... they didnt turn up!! LOL!!
Loli, Peg and the Budgies
Peg is looking gorgeous today, and trying very hard to impress by 'sitting' for these pics!
Loli tells everyone she meets that life on the farm is a hard slog and she'd rather be trotting around Triplarina State Forest, but really... she loves the morning run with the bike, and if there's a lunch time run so much the better, and nothing beats an evening run... LOL!!
Until I took these - allbeit poor - pictures this evening I would have told you I had 3 young female budgies, but it looks like both the coloured birds have blue ceres!!! So maybe I have 2 males and 1 female... better wait a few more weeks before going out to get them some partners!!
Kangaroos in the bottom paddock
The other morning there were about 10 kangaroos in the creek paddock, and one with a very large joey in the Hindley paddock.

Life in the Kangaroo Paddock
This is Carmen, she has grown well, and is now laying!! Seems impossible, but she is. Her incubator leg seems to give her no real problems, she flies whenever the going gets too tough, one of my favourites :)
Cilla is a darling, and a 'Paris' here at the 'Hilton'. She is so pretty :)
Elvis (blue bibbed Call) weighs about half of what Slim (Ancona) does... none-the-less, when Elvis decided to evict Slim AND Sally from the pool, that's what happened!!
After the uproar, Sally and Slim returned to the pool, and Sally got the bug - far left!! Clever duck!!!
