Sunday Shopping and Playng with Scarlett

Scarlett went for an afternoon nap soon after I arrived at her house on Sunday.  Freya and I used the time to go shopping (thanks Dano), leaving just after she went to sleep and timing our return perfectly just minutes before she woke :)   While we were out we got her a back pack, it was a big hit AND there were goodies inside!!

There were two new plastic plates which she really liked :)

Sunday with Scarlett, Flat Packs and at the Park

Yesterday, while Scarlett slept, Freya and I visited OfficeWorks, we came home with lots of good stuff including a new desk - flat packed.  When Scarlett woke, she thought this was the best new toy ever!!  A stage, a gym work out station, the possibilities were endless!!

The flat pack was quickly forgotten when a trip to the park was on the cards.  Favourite mode of transport for Scarlett is her bike!

The park was a big hit, especially the slide, the bouncy pelican was good, .... the swing, not so much.

Milly, Molly, Mandy Update and Llama Selfies

Milly, Molly and Mandy are growing up and getting big!  They love their 'free time' in the yards after the llamas and alpacas have left.  They have to be supervised during this time as we have yet another pesky fox hanging around!!  MMM are down to 2 feeds a day which is making life less hectic!

Ody and Mehitabel continue with their lead and halter training, both are walking well now, AND putting up with silly selfie shots!!  LOL!!

Sherrie has a gammy leg at the moment, and has not coming in for brekkie, so I took her some in her creek bed hide out!  Hopefully time will cure it, because she is a cranky old thing and its impossible to do much for her.  That said she managed to come in today, so she must be feeling a bit better :)

Fun and Games with Scarlett Rose

Celebrated the Queen's Birthday holiday by going to visit Scarlett Rose.  She was her usual fun-loving, mischievous self and was looking gorgeous:

 And then some improvised play - grab the talc and squeeze the container a couple of times before anyone can reach you, then lay down and smooch that stuff about, include taste test - hilarious!

Halter Training

There has been a lot of halter training going on.  Pierre and Farquhar were on a refresher course, as Victor Hugo and Yves are at present.  And there is on going training for our young llamas, Ody and Mehitabel.  Mehitabel was very nervous about the whole thing until I started walking her with Ody, who is supremely quiet and confident.  Mehitabel is much happier to walk now, even on her own :)

Colourbration Show - Goulburn

Last weekend was the Colourbration Alpaca Show at Goulburn.  I helped out on the Saturday, and on Sunday showed Pierre.  It was a big, strong class and unfortunately he didn't place, but we had a fun day :)  I took Farquhar along to keep Pierre company.

They are pleased to be back home now, but handled their first outing very well :)  Pierre and Farquhar hang out with Jack Sparrow a LOT!!  If you find one, the other two are pretty much bound to be close at hand.
