Milly, Molly, Mandy

The lambs are getting bigger, and spending more time outside, soon it will be time to let them join the herd and be grown up sheep!!  They are very keen to go out each morning and play, especially Milly who is a great climber!!

Nap time in the yards on a foggy morning.

Ody and Mehitabel, almost always together, hard to believe there is only 2 weeks difference in age!

Sevana, starting to look a bit chubby, really hoping she is finally pregnant :)

More Snow Pics

Hasn't snowed here before, so its a bit of a novelty and I'm wasting time this morning taking pics!!

The animals all look a bit wet and bedraggled.

This tree's common name is Snow in Summer - here it is doing Snow in Winter!!

This gumtree in the driveway paddock has lost a second limb, there is only about a third of the tree left now :(  And I have an extra job to do this morning getting it clear of the fence.

Snow at Mt Tanga

When my neighbour posted on Facebook yesterday evening that it was snowing at his place, I didn't believe him, I thought it was just sleet, but later when I went out to feed the lambs I discovered he was right!!

Still here this morning, but starting to get very slushy :(

The first time we've had snow here.  And I can hear the creek this morning, so that must be well up as well!!

Canberra Trip

Last Tuesday my mother, Thelma Rieper, arrived for a week's visit.  On Saturday we went to Canberra to visit Scarlett, who, even though she had a rotten cold was smiling and happy.

After a quick lunch Mum and I headed off to Griffith for the main reason for her visit - her brother George's 90th birthday party.  Her brother John was also at the party - the 3 siblings don't often get together and they all enjoyed a long chat :)  L to R, George, Thelma, John.

Mum left on Wednesday, a safe journey home on the train.
