This tree's common name is Snow in Summer - here it is doing Snow in Winter!!
This gumtree in the driveway paddock has lost a second limb, there is only about a third of the tree left now :( And I have an extra job to do this morning getting it clear of the fence.

When Andy put his pic up, I thought he must be photographing sleet because it was falling fast and straight - wet snow is heavy? And it certainly was very slushy as it started to melt! It didn't snow in Canberra so Scarlett missed out :( Haven't read the book, sorry.
