Rust Printing
Finally some pics of the rust printing I did the other day, these are the 'best' bits, think I will re-do the rest today.
The rusty 'bits' were curved pieces of steel left behind by the previous owner of the house. Like giant pieces of a drilled flange. I wrapped the fabric and sprinkled with salt and white vinegar. Then wrapped in plastic cling film.... the better the wrap... the better the result. The less successful pieces were the ones the air got to, and those that dried too quickly. Catchya Rosie
You have some good strong colour there. What was the rust? And what process?
