The Rose Garden, a late post!

Took these photos the other day (Mar 5) but didnt get enough time (how unusual!) to get them posted.  I really really love Fiona's wish, the bloom and 3 buds I photographed earlier in the week have developed into the most wonderful display, the colour is dazzling.

Super Star had opened up a bit more, and was looking spectacular.

I have planted a climbing rose, Pierre de Ronsard - for my French, soon-to-be son-in-law Antoine.  The flowers are quite peony-like and gorgeous.  It will be climbing up the flag pole soon, so much more fun than a flag!!

I dont know the name of this little floribunda rose - so if you do, please tell me :)  Very pretty, but I still prefer the Hybrid Teas.
